So there were cops and people moving gear into trucks outside Bar Mode yesterday and today.

The story I heard (which sounds far fetched but....) is that Tane tried to do a runner from the Repo men and broke his foot, called the ambos who in turn called the police

Anyways, does anyone know what the eff is going on?

I heard he was moving everything from the bar to behind the sportsman on Rangitikei, used to be a motorcycle shop. Be teaching music and having byo gigs with no bar. Dunno about the cop situation though.

Something's happening to the old Bar Mode venue. There's been a paint job outside the building and there's definitely work being done on the inside.

Interesting to see what actually happens to the building.

I'd love to think it'll be something awesome but I'm frequently let down by feelings of awesomeness. It might just be a new restaurant.
