Ok here you are, if you want to be secret squirrel you can. Anyone can vote/post, no restrictions. If you want to back up your vote with an example,feel free. If you want another option on the poll PM me or post it-if you PM me-your name stays with me I promise.

A: The previous format; Director,Co Director, and other delegated tasks.

B:A small board of say 3 who vote on all decisions, with the larger group ( all us plebs lol ) voting on the 'big' decisions.Plus of course delegated members doing other bits n peices.

C: Everyone votes on everything-noone has more responisibilty than anyone else.

This doesn't even take in to account how to all vote, meeting arrangments and funding of course. Thats a whole different story.

I think a board or council of 3-5 members (nominated and voted on) by all directly involved with $lave (band members and others who step forward) making the descisions. Perhaps each council member could be in charge of a different aspect of running $lave. (Promotion, Event organizing/Tour Mangement?, Production of Merch etc.) Kind of a 'Guided Collective' with the council taking into account the votes of all those involved and casting deciding votes when nesscecary.

Kind of a reworking of option B.
Just my thoughts.

I'm thinking something like this too. Depending on what individual roles we decide we need people to have I think could possibly decide the number of people in the board.

I am thinking option B is the only way to make it work. As long as the 'committee' (first word that popped into my head, doesn't mean it has to be called a "committee") of 3-5 actually communicate together and to the membership when decisions need to be made, after all this is a collective no? So personally, some sort of structure, and soome sort of guidelines or rules do need to be drafted in my opinion. Tell me I am wrong, I can cope with that . I think pretty much and unofficial option B is currently what is going on, with Sin and Wankstain and that Pirate guy stepping up and starting to sort through this stuff. You do need to establish, as mentioned, how you are going to do voting, who is voting etc.... note there is another thread that I have not read here yet and I may have to edit this message after I see what has been written there.... lol jumping off half cocked .. well maybe at least.

The meeting went well, I think the $lave collectives future is looking good...

would someone like to tell me what is going on before I do my annual report back to the companies office. Something in the form of a email would be good.
