Friday the 20th of February saw a good turnout at the Royal for 'Cthulu Awakens' with Cephalopod, Deadset, Government Pest, Hexanine and Defetus all playing to a lively crowd.

New Slaves Government Pest are hitting the road at the end of March as part of Napier band Heterodox's tour. GP will be playing on Friday the 27th March at Valhalla in Wellington with Ovus playing as well and then on Saturday the 28th March in Whanganui at The Riverside bar with Midnight Switch also on the bill. In other news Defetus have just released their new ep on Bandcamp. Also, Turbostill are recording there 6th release. Keep supporting local music
