well if you wanna spend time in a small liberal town, surrounded with rednecks, this is your town....... well it aint as bad as it sounds, but there are bumper stickers that read "Ithaca: 10 square miles surrounded with reality" So thanks to Cornell Uni and the fine arts school, Ithaca college, there are alot of liberal folk around here.... but get out of the town perimetre, and its down hill pretty quick. Lots of nice scenary here though, lots of waterfalls and gorges, a nice lake which produces awesome sunsets... I like it here.

Looks like I will have yet another reason to visit NYC..... and someone from NZ might finally get to meet the lovely Brenda :).

Oh there is an underground punk (for the lack of a better word) scene in this town..... by punk I kinda mean DIY, or at least that how it looks..... not sure what it is like, but I will investigate at some point.... probably all long fringe emo kid wanna be punk rocker screamo fags :D...... "Ithaca underground"... google it, they have a myspace :P.

For a few years if all goes to plan. My lady has got into a Master of Science program at NYU. I've been invited along and will probably be doing a vegan gourmet chef course. Should be there by late September
