It follows then that you need to offer something to God to show your holiness. However what came as more of a surprise is that you are also told to hold your offering and tithe up in your right hand, fist clenched to show the congregation in conjunction of calls of Hallelujah in a brilliant example of peer pressure and psychological blackmail.
