A small but receptive crowd came out for the summer nights metal show.
They got to see 4 awesome metal bands in DEFETUS, GRIEF GIVER, BLOODSPRAY FOR POLITICS, and GUNT. All the bands got a mosh pit in front of them which made it all worth while.

Make sure you go along and support bands playing around the country, the best way to get people to go to your shows if you play in a band is to go to out and see other bands play. If you are not in a band it's particularly awesome when people make the effort to go to a show. There are lots of high quality bands you can see for $5 or $10 instead of the much higher prices you will pay to see a well known band. All well known bands started out as unknown bands once too, they just got a lucky break or relentlessly toured for years on end.

I think it has a lot to do with the venue. There a bit of bad noise surrounding that place of late, or so I hear anyway

I don't know, Until another bar gets interested in hosting gigs we don't have many other options.
