Man calls police after stolen car clamped

Hamilton police were laughing all the way back to the cells, after arresting an irate motorist who had called them for help.

The man believed his car had been unfairly clamped in an underground car park in Hamilton. The indignant man called police, expecting them to order it be freed.

Instead, he was in for a shock. Police collared him after checking the car's registration and discovering the vehicle had been stolen the day before.
