So about two months ago, Laura found an add for the "Make it Happen" awards in the Manawatu Standard, and hit me up to enter $lave into it. They are offering $15,000 to a local community organisation/s to support activities in the local community. So I told them $lave was putting out the "Dawn of Grey Winter" compilation and wanted to purchase a PA as well to make gigs more economically viable for bands. We have made the final, and will be attending the awards ceremony next wed the 3rd August. So hopefully $lave will be getting a cash injection in the next week or so... |

Do you know if the awards ceremony is open to the public, and if it is, where and what time is it being held??? |

I'm not so sure, They are going to let me know next week what the exact details are... I think it's at the Novatel building or somethin? |
