It is with much sadness I must report that American Head Charge have lost their longtime serving guitarist Brian Ottoson. The girls at work told me about it, I have just looked it up online, here is a story. I am gutted.... I reckon it was probably party related, found dead in the tour bus..... what else could it have been? Their label or the band themselves haven't reported anything official as yet but shortly I would anticipate. This chemical problem is always gonna be the death of this band....... I have seen them twice sionce I have been here. the first time they had a really good show, defiantely one of the best bands I have ever seen... as good as Faith no more live, which for me is pretty much up there. The second time they were plagued with techincal difficulties which meant they didnt have any bass in the mix for their first 4 songs. The guy can sing like a mother fucker... as good live as he is on the record. I hope this latest episode doesn't mark the end of this great band.
