Hi Swamplings,

Kane here - you may have noticed I've not been round much.

I'm real sorry I cut out like I did, specially to Muzz :), Kraig :shock: and Tov :twisted:. You guys deserved better.

I have a small problem with my brain and it takes control sometimes and I end up on sum farked up adventures only to sort of realise what I've done months down the track. You've probably all heard that I'm in AK city working with low paid workers. It's good mahi, but it's long hours, low pay and very stressful.

I've been wanting to say hi for ages now but thought eveyone probably hates me which is undertandable and yes that does sound pretty lame and self indulgent but guess what...

I've drunk heaps and had my heart broken and led strikes and organised shows, met some great people and some cunts had a couple of fights and generally been knee deep in the chaos. Won't tell you if it's fun or not yet - no one gets a happiness gaurantee.

Hope everyone is keeping it real in the swamp. I really missing you guys right now and I'm feeling it heavily tonight (gay).

Wish things were different.

Yeah? I remember meeting your mum one time but I can't remember where. Don't think that it was a prty, she was just visiting you and Jarrod and I stopped by your place or something. She was quite witty if I remember correctly. Your brother was always good fun, too.

Yep, free beer. Those words are magic enough on their own but when combined have an almost hypnotic effect on people involved with music that uses distortion pedals.

Jimmy Snuff, please have that stuff ready for the MRR interview because it WILL happen. I shall bring my dictaphone (no rude jokes, please). Don't forget that great looking live band pics often make the cover of this zine so have some good ones ready and you might get splattered on the front of 10,000 rags. Have your Euro-tour dates handy, too because we'll include them and you'll get tons of extra publicity for your gigs. Has Graeme started his drunken "We're going on holiday and YOU'RE NOT!" speech on stage yet? See, someone remembers STATE OF HATE! :wink:
