" Fucking hell yes! " Hehe, I don't really deserve that rating. I know what I like, but don't know shit really about metal. I only just had a listen to Reign of Blood (pretty cool mostly, but some of the lyrics were a bit lame; singing about Satan is NOT scary, it's laughable). I think all you need to do to get a good score is to like old school stuff, and not modern stuff. I just ticked Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath a lot, they're far preferable to the other crap mentioned. |

yeah but thats what I did too  (...infact, I just changed one answer -- the one about who coined the term heavy metal -- and got the "fucking hell yes" result...so who the fuck is Markus "Metal" Daimieon? I always thought it was Lester Bangs paraphrasing William Burroughs meself...) but who cares anyway...everyone knows classic rock is the only relevant genre |

Umm, nah... having a quick google around, he appears to be part of some lame-arses who still sound like Iron Maiden in 2005. For me slayer are a fun band (as is the rest of music I like)..... I have fond memories of Kane, Junior, Jarrod, Dave, Murray, Woody, Markham, Smiley and others in Satanical road listening to such party albums like Reign in Blood and Persistance of time..... yelling..... singing..... drinking....... being obnoxious..... throwing up... then drinking more and planning to take over the world or at least wishing James Lisette a merry xmas

I actually had some trouble making the poll say anything other than Fucking hell yes! - I choose the lamest answers I could find, and still was "in the know". I think the poll's not that well made. Although probably everybody who got that answered deserved it, except me. |

 Hmmm. Well, you're close, anyway. You probably just listened to too much Metallica, but it's apparent that you have a fair amount of appreciation for true heavy metal. Might we recommend a visit to http://www.trueheavymetal.com?  I guess that I didn't survive a year and a third in the Cheese Flat unscathed after all!...Mind you, I just went back and randomly filled out the quiz in order to see the rankings of the various results, and got "Fucking hell yes!"??
