I wouldnt buy an amp unless I knew what it sounded like.... eg played through it to make sure it was kosha...... however it was a classsic like an old JCM 800 50 watt I would be buying it even if it needed work ![]() Try it out if you can dude before you start throwing money at it. tube-fusion doesn't sound very metal though lol Quote: Try asking at Punkas.... I guarantee Graeme will tell ya not to get it... Laneys (Like Markhams) are pretty cool, but Laneys like the one at the tummy or Kristovs one are pretty av.... but what would I know I play the bass... badly... |

Tony Iommi uses a Laney. I reckon they are quite good sounding, but seem to not have a very good survival rate, Markham will tell you about that... |

I co-own a Laney (Kristoffs one) and it ain't the loudest but its grunty as hell sounding. Not much definition high end-wise but not bad I reckon. Quote: but seem to not have a
