I wouldnt buy an amp unless I knew what it sounded like.... eg played through it to make sure it was kosha...... however it was a classsic like an old JCM 800 50 watt I would be buying it even if it needed work :)........

Try it out if you can dude before you start throwing money at it. tube-fusion doesn't sound very metal though lol

Tony Iommi uses a Laney.
I reckon they are quite good sounding, but seem to not have a
very good survival rate, Markham will tell you about that...

I co-own a Laney (Kristoffs one) and it ain't the loudest but its grunty as hell sounding. Not much definition high end-wise but not bad I reckon.

No gear that Markham ( or the Hendersons for that matter) touches have a good survival rate
If you take care of shit stuff usually last for ages...just nothing with Microsoft on it.I know some old shits who's guitar cables have lasted 15-20 years. If you coil them propally and don't stomp on them they last for fucking ever(or untill the metal corrodes/rubber or plastic perishes)
But I get pissed and throw them into my bag
