AmosAnon's first of three CDs, SystemA, is now at MangoMusic, as the title of this post suggests. A whopping $4 a pop.
"It's a collection of songs about being ritualistically dicked by a corporate system that you can't escape" explains the albums producer, Peter-James.
Look for the black cover with the KGB logo and the Совершенно Секретно designation. Each cover slightly different, as some kinda marketing ploy.
Critiques demanded.

Introducing Gothique:
We are proud to announce that Amos Anon's second CD, gothique, is now at Mango Music. An amazing $3 a copy.
Technically, it was the first CD: Written and Recorded prior to SystemA (2009) from 2005 - 2008, at Church street's Hampton Court, at the once famed Slave Flat on Grey Street and also at Linton Street Massive before it was demolished / renovated.
"I won't say it's about Love, not in the conventional sense at least. If it is about love it's a dark twisted stalkerishly obsessed kind of love." comments producer Peter-James.
Once again, differing covers as a failure of a marketing ploy (I do music, not business). Look for the 'girl with the pierced lip and spiky Dog collar' or 'the couple kissing in the rain' covers, both labeled clearly "AmosAnon - Gothique"

AmosAnon is currently recording the last pieces of their third Ep, XI, at their temporary recording studio after being evicted from Linton Street Massive.
" If Gothique was a Love album, this is the Hate album. If Gothique was just a collection of songs that externalise the internal mechanics of some kind of social retard then this is just another Punky Industrial Gothic noise fest." announces Peter-James, who returns to produce the new EP.
The front cover is up. Different for each copy once again.
Look for it at Mango music in this coming week. Price likely $5, but since no one has bought the other shit it's likely to be $3.
See you Auntee.

The whole point of AmosAnon is that you don't know. To know me would cause an attention deviation from the music, so I have tried to limit that.
For the etymological origins of the name consider your relationship to me. You (a listener) are the one critiquing and instructing me on how to better my music. If you are in such a position of authority, how do you know me? How would you call me? Like a teacher calling a roll in class perhaps: "Anon, Amos." |
