The Haunted - Unseen
Been listening to that too.
At first I thought it was crap. To slow and cheesey, but after a few listens it
seems to be growing on me. :)

Tonnes of new Heavy Metal albums have come out so I'm happy as fuck!

This is the main one I've been hanging out for as ORIGIN is probably one of my favourite Death Metal bands of all time. John Longstreth is probably my favourite extreme metal drummer. His double kick speed is superhuman.

Khaos Legions is pretty much a standard Arch Enemy album and that suits me fine. Guitar work is always amazing.

New Hate Eternal "Phoenix Amongst The Ashes" is miles better than "Fury and The Flames." I highly recommend checking out this song called THE ART OF REDEMPTION as the guitaring is ridiculous:

New Morbid Angel is pretty much an utter disappointment. Only worth checking out if you're/were a die-hard fan. There's way to much industrial/techno songs on the album which just fucking irritates the shit out of me. The metal songs aren't too bad but they just don't have any special "it" factors to them.

I stumbled upon this band called "Nader Sadek" who has members from Cryptopsy and Morbid Angel. Definitely worth checking out:

New Entrails album is a fucking great listen. Probably the best NZ Hardcore Punk album to come out this year. 8)

I fully recommend it!

I've been enjoying there ep for the last year or so. I've had a listen to the album, I'll have to copy it onto my mp3 player for a few more listens.

Got the 3CD-version reissues of 2 Death Albums "Human" and "The Sound Of Perserverence:

'Human' got fully remixed (as they couldn't find the original Scott Burns mixes) and IT SOUNDS FUCKING AWESOME!!!

All instruments are mixed "evenly" loud and clear as opposed to the original mixes which were guitar focused. Steve's bass guitar sound is so much audible and you can even hear the ghost-notes on the snare drum.

The new Prong album "Carved in stone" is pretty cool, it's getting regular play on my mp3 player. When I listen back to older prong I often find it a bit slow these days, but this one is pretty thrashy and cool but still sounds like Prong.
:)
