DEPTHS:

Bringing a modern, aggressive approach to Death Metal, Palmerston North based DEPTHS have been making their mark on the New Zealand heavy music scene since their inception with their crushing sound and passionate, pulverizing live performance instantly showing the nation that they are an unnerving force to be reckoned with.

After countless tours up and down the country, supporting numerous international acts including Between the Buried and Me, Suicide Silence, Thy Art Is Murder, Animals As Leaders, A Plea For Purging, Parkway Drive, The Acacia Strain, Volumes and I Killed the Prom Queen and following the success of their two previous releases, mini album ‘Resurgence’ and full length release ‘Illumination’ the band has firmly established themselves as one of New Zealand’s heaviest hitting metal acts.

Their newest single 'The Cattle of Man' released in January 2014, showed that they still had a lot more to offer and only added to the mounting anticipation for their upcoming second full length album.

HAND OF MERCY:

For Hand Of Mercy, it's been somewhat of a long road to success - at least by the standards of todays Internet hype-driven music industry. Starting out in 2007, the band has taken the long road - touring their arses off, and releasing music and perfecting their art.

But for all intents and purposes, the formula for this band has worked. Have fun, play shows and make friends. With a 100% percent DIY approach to everything they do, the band has been able to tour with some of the best bands from Australia and the rest of the world, including The Amity Affliction, A Day To Remember, The Ghost Inside, August Burns Red and most recently, a national main support on Parkway Drive's "Sick Summer II" Tour in January 2012.

Their two EP’s “Trash The Party” and “Scum Of The Earth” gained them a significant domestic following, but it was the bands first full length release ‘Last Lights’ that really gained the attention of the masses, with record label UNFD signing on to release the record. Their latest release, “Resolve” has also been received well by listeners and critics alike and has helped Hand Of Mercy become a real force in the Australian music scene
